About the speaker
This event has been rescheduled to October 28th due to Hurricane Ian.
Traditional craft and contemporary design inspires my work - functional home goods that connect people with material and experience. These influences are expressed in wares that are both earthy and elegant with a modern approach to handmade pottery. The pieces accent your home, inspire ritual and encourage hospitality.
My degree in Design Studies from the renowned N.C. State College of Design has given me a unique perspective, grounding my work as a studio potter in the craft origins of design. This rich history introduced me to the maker/designer's legacy of functional beauty. I integrate this values-driven approach to my studio practice and business.
My studio is located in the historic Boylan Heights neighborhood of Raleigh, NC and studio shopping is welcome!
