Liron Lavi Turkenich is an Israeli Type and Graphic designer. She is best known for her Aravrit project, combining Hebrew and Arabic into one type system.
As a type designer, her work is focused on designing typefaces for international companies and multilingual design, where she specializes in Hebrew and Amharic. In addition to design, Liron is involved in researching and writing for type design exhibitions, teaching typography and working on many other independent projects. She also regularly writes on typography, participates in exhibitions, shares her knowledge and experiences in lectures and workshops internationally.
A graduate of Shenkar she also holds an MA in Typeface design from the University of Reading, UK. Liron loves traveling around the world, finding hidden culinary gems and searching for typographic treasures in dusty archives.
