About the speaker
As a fully female-lead design studio you are unfortunately a kind of 'rare species' in the international graphic design industry. Founders Lilly Friedeberg and Alessia Sistori never questioned the fact of being female leaders of a company. However, after some years in the business, they understand the obstacles which can cross your path during this journey. In their talk they'll speak about personal experiences and learnings that they had as well as things they understood by talking to other creatives in this field and by running the Düsseldorf chapter of Ladies, Wine and Design.
Design Studio B.O.B. was started as a design collective first in 2018 in order to become an international agency for Branding, Packaging and Illustration in 2019.
The two founders, Lilly Friedeberg and Alessia Sistori, met in Berlin during University and then split paths in order to gain work experience in different international design agencies in Düsseldorf and Mexico-City. Only to meet each other again some years later after a series of events brought them both to starting their freelance careers in Düsseldorf. After some collaborations on different projects they decided to start their own agency together.
