About the speaker

Laure Gremion is an industrial designer with a versatile and playful approach. She designs all kinds of objects such as lighting, tableware & outdoor products, from initial concept to production. Ambitious projects drive Laure to develop innovative solutions, as she enriches initial concepts with a diverse range of materials and manufacturing techniques.

She seeks to develop products that harmoniously combine functionality, ecology and aesthetics with reasonable manufacturing costs. Collaborating with passionate craftsmen and factories alike, Laure's adventurous approach to design will make you smile or dream.

Laure graduated from ECAL in 2012 and founded her independent studio in early 2017 in Lausanne, Switzerland. Since then she has worked on various commissioned projects for Hermès or local Swiss brands. Her work is shown at international events such as the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Blickfang in Copenhagen, at the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai, or the World Economic Forum in Tianjin.
