About the speaker
Laura Howe is a marketer, community builder, and founder of Dispatched Divorcée, a global community helping women rebuild their lives after divorce. Born in Seattle, she got married at 21, divorced at 30, and promptly moved to Lausanne, Switzerland, with her cat. What followed: a corporate relocation to Tokyo, a burnout, and the slow, deliberate work of building a life she actually wanted — one rooted in Lausanne.
She has spent nearly two decades building brands and communities for Fortune 500 companies in consumer goods, tech, book publishing, and the nonprofit space — and now helps founders, startups, and solopreneurs do the same. She is the co-founder of Feminist Book Club Lausanne and is at work on her first memoir, What Happened After: Dispatches from an International Jet-Setting Divorcée.
She is passionate about changing the narrative around divorce through Ladies' Night, a storytelling show and dance party that gets women back on stage and back in the center of their own lives.
Laura writes about marriage, divorce, and the uncomfortable questions that lie beneath it all at The Diary of a Dispatched Divorcée.
