About the speaker
Lane Scott Jones is a Pushcart Prize-nominated writer and speaker whose work has appeared in Longreads, Repeller, Good Grit, and in translation in Internazionale. Her creative nonfiction explores themes of identity, desire, and personal liberation in the South. She is currently at work on her first book.
In 2022, Lane sold everything she owned to travel the world full-time, sparking a re-examination of conventional ideas about what it means to live a fulfilling life. She shares her journey through Second Rodeo, a Substack newsletter and podcast exploring lifestyle design and how to break free from default choices to embrace more expansive, intentional ways of living.
