Lachandra (La) encourages us to examine our deeply held self-beliefs in order to trust in the goodness within ourselves.
Consultant and trainer Lachandra Baker asks us to reflect on what’s holding us back from self-trust and establish new ways of relating to ourselves. She posits that we can learn to trust our minds, trust our hearts, and trust our voices in order to be our whole, beautiful selves in any space. Trusting our minds means examining the self-beliefs that hold us back and learning that how we think about the world is valid. Trusting our hearts means believing that we are worthy of love— in spite of the messages we’ve received from others. Trusting our voice means believing that our perspectives and lived experiences are valid.
