“In order to truly connect with others, you have to let go of yourself sometimes…”

Kipp Adler has told people’s stories from all around the world. But to authentically tell a story, one has to first listen to that story. In a world where it’s hard to talk to others, Kipp asks us to take a step back and think about how we really connect as human beings. Is it just through communication, or is it through something deeper than that?

About the speaker

Kipp’s genuine interest in understanding and connecting with others has fueled his career in video marketing and filmmaking. His content has driven marketing campaigns, garnered millions of views and engagements on YouTube and other social media platforms, been broadcast into homes throughout the world, achieved record-breaking ratings, and won awards at film festivals. One of his first marketing videos went "viral" (nearly 50K YouTube views back in 2016 ain't bad!).

Originally from Kansas City, Kipp is now based in Denver... But, his career began in Tel Aviv. As a video journalist, he was thrust into one of the most complex and divisive conflicts of our time. This taught him how to listen to people and tell their story. From there he expanded into marketing videos, documentaries, and indie films. He has lived and worked around the world, telling stories and marketing brands.

Kipp's personal and professional experience has helped him foster an understanding of how to relate to people, build true connections, and open lines of communication. It's quite simple, really; And it starts with listening to each other.
