Kealoha Domingo

SALT at Our Kakaako

About the speaker

Chef Kealoha Domingo is the native Hawaiian chef and owner behind Nui Kealoha, a catering company rooted in the sacred connection between 'āina, kānaka, and mea 'ai — land, people, and food. A multi-generational Hawaiian practitioner, Chef Kealoha brings traditional values and indigenous philosophy to every plate, woven through with a contemporary sensibility that honors the past while nourishing the future.

His aloha for the land and community has earned him recognition on a global stage — from the Hawai'i Food and Wine Festival and the James Beard House in New York, to the White House Tribal Leaders gathering, Slow Foods International in Turin, and collaborative dinners with celebrated Native American chef Sean Sherman. He is also a founding voice in the growing Indigenous Chef Collective, championing ancestral foodways worldwide.

Nui Kealoha's newest chapter unfolds at Capitol Modern in downtown Honolulu — a storied space for culture, art, and the living heritage of Hawai'i.
