Kate is founder and director of BitterSweet Creative, an award-winning, multi-disciplinary team specializing in creative strategy, content production, brand evolution, graphic design, data visualization, film production, UX/UI design, web development, and social media marketing. As a trusted creative strategist for clients large and small, Kate manages teams of designers, photographers, filmmakers, writers and developers (both people and processes) to ensure compelling deliverables that meet real business needs. Ranging in topics from refugee care to financial literacy, food deserts to elder care, anti-trafficking to housing for the homeless, we have vigorously sought out hope and inspiration even amidst poverty, injustice, corruption, and disease. In 2017, BitterSweet Monthly was recognized by Webby Awards as one of the five best online magazines in the world—next to Conde Naste, WIRED, the New Yorker, and Hollywood Reporter. In 2014, Kate was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the DC Chamber of Commerce.
