Meet this month's speaker trio

Julian Mickelson is a senior mechanical engineer at frog’s San Francisco studio. He combines engineering and design to create products that blend form, function, and usability. With a background in mechanical engineering, product design, and design research, he brings experience from consumer electronics and product design consulting. Julian explores the intersection of physical and digital experiences. Outside of frog, he created the Jellyfish Forest, an immersive light installation exhibited at Burning Man featuring suspended jellyfish with illuminated, touch-responsive tentacles.
