Jules Downum

Jules is the Executive and Artistic Director of The Pop-up Project, which she co-founded in 2016. Through TPUP she has produced/directed/co-directed and written dozens of dance films, performances, and events, many of which she also participated in as a choreographer or dancer. She was The City of Chattanooga's first "City Artist" from 2020-2022, where she led multiple movement based engagements. She has a masters degree in applied cultural anthropology.
