About the speaker
Fabio Deotto is a writer and journalist.
He published the novels 'Condominio R39' (Einaudi 2014, winner of the Zocca Prize) and 'Un attimo prima' (Einaudi 2017), and the nonfiction book L'Altro mondo (Bompiani 2021). He curated the speculative nonfiction anthology ‘Come ne usciremo’, due out on February 5th 2025 for Bompiani.
Fabio has translated Marshall McLuhan, David J. Linden, Geoff Mann and David Winner, among others. As an essayst he mainly focuses on the intersections between sciences and humanities. His articles appeared on national and international publications, including Esquire, Corriere della Sera, Wired, IlSole24Ore, IlTascabile, and The Massachusetts Review.
