About the speaker
Joshua Kumler is the producer, creator, and host of The Miseducation of Dallas County, the podcast of the Commit Partnership, and provides additional content development for the organization. Prior to coming to Commit, Kumler worked at Spoke Media as an audiobook narrator, director, and editor. He was the creator and host of Bar Politics, a live performance series addressing local political issues in the city of Dallas. And he is a professional actor, performing across the Metroplex at theaters such as Casa Manana, Kitchen Dog, and Lyric Stage. He received a B.F.A. in Theatre Studies with minors in English and Philosophy from Southern Methodist University.
