About the speaker
Josh Halstead is a design leader and disability activist blurring the lines between academia and professional practice. He has created brand experiences for clients in the technology, financial services, consumer electronics, professional services, energy, and nonprofit sectors. He has been an invited lecturer, panelist, and design workshop facilitator in various settings including Landor London & New York, California College of the Arts, AIGA Design Conference, UC Berkeley, and the Society for Disability Studies. Josh holds a BFA from Art Center College of Design, teaches graphic and user experience design at UC Berkeley Extension, and is an MA candidate in Disability Studies at CUNY.
