Built on top of our 20,000 monthly attendees at CreativeMornings talks, FieldTrips are community-organized events built on the spirit of generosity that has powered CreativeMornings events for the past 10 years.

About this FieldTrip
Looking for a way to take an art break or learn something new? Try out a virtual art museum field trip with McNay educators. This session will include three works of art revolving around the theme of McNay Museum Highlights.
About your Host Kira Sandoval is an educator for K-12 Engagement at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio. Things she has acquired during the pandemic: too many new plants, an appreciation for long evening walks in unpredictable Texas weather, and a heightened obsession with crocheting.
Kate Carey is Head of Education at the McNay. An art history nerd and regular history nerd, Kate bikes the Mission Reach, reads young adult literature, and daydreams about traveling outside San Antonio.
Jenelle Esparza is an artist and Educator for Family Experiences at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio. A few things she’s learned while in lockdown: Mother Nature heals, indoor exercise is key, and make more art.
