A visual artist’s take on what we can’t see.

Jeremiah Neal is “part artist, part comedian, part inventor, part author and part evangelist.” Put them all together and you get one interesting talk on “invisible” that’s part grounded, part out of this world. Prepare to wade into some deep thoughts, the kind that emerge when Jeremiah sits in his backyard, just letting his cat – and his mind – wander.

About the speaker

Jeremiah Neal was born and raised in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. His journey away from his hometown started after joining the United States Air Force and eventually making a home in Omaha.

Jeremiah is a studio artist who enjoys painting custom canvas portraits and other canvas works. He has exhibited at numerous venues, including the Scott Conference Center, Hot Shops Art Center, Michael Phipps Gallery and Sienna Francis House.

A Sienna Francis House board member since 2014, Jeremiah has been an invaluable asset to the outreach and its art programs. He has created and displayed murals at Sienna Francis House, the Salvation Army Kroc Center, the Silverstone Group and more. His book, Back 2 the Drawing Board, is his latest work.

“The book’s title is artistically my truth. I’ve hit the reset button on my life many times,” he said. “Starting over is better than quitting. Reinventing yourself is allowed.”
