Benjamin Southworth feels that the education system failed him, and his own poor academic record serves as a source of humiliation and embarrassment. He wants to change that education exchange and had founded a start-up that empowers teenagers 16-18 to learn coding, design, public speaking, and other fundamental skills to get them into meaningful work, faster. He speaks on the role of technology as a changemaker and how we should be using it more make change in our world.
About the speaker
Benjamin has worked in startups his entire life, and is now embarking on founding, developing and exploring as many of his own ideas as he possibly can.
He’s is co-founder of several internet related activities; The 3 Beards, Lean Capital & Tech Bikers, and the sole founder of The Ada Lovelace Academy, Paramete.rs, and Changeworks.
