As an archaeologist Holly Norton is a treasure hunter. But not like Indiana Jones. Her journeys have taken her to learn more about ordinary people throughout history as they created culture and material artifacts. Pottery, buildings, figurines and other object tell of stories of those who lived before. In this talk, Holly introduces us to some of these stories.

About the speaker

Holly Norton is our State Archaeologist, and Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer. In this role she has authored numerous papers about history as a state and will share a number of the state "treasures" that inspire the unique creativity within the Centennial State. Learn more about Holly!
