Brands are like people

Today more than ever, we believe that brands are like people. They are defined by their unique identities, personalities, and attitudes. These characteristics become all the more important in an era increasingly plagued by blanding and the need to differentiate oneself in the marketplace.

After his graphic design studies at the EAAD Geneva, Hervé founded a collective of young designers. He moved to Brussels in 2001 to work with Base until 2004. Back in Geneva, Hervé co-founded the design practice «GVA Studio». Its mission was to design without preconceived opinions and with a confidence that uncovering what is hidden underneath will bring nothing but pleasure. In 2013, GVA Studio joined the Base group and became BaseGVA. To projects ranging from visual identities to ad campaigns, Hervé imparts a philosophy of graphic and conceptual simplicity that emphasizes concise communication.

Hervé believes in the power of creative autonomy mixed with teamwork and pleasure. As a member of the Swiss Society of Graphic Designers (SGV), Hervé regularly intervenes as a jury member and speaker at HEAD Geneva and EAAD Geneva.
