June 8, 8:30am - 10:00am MDT. Hosted at CSpace
part of a series on Craft
About the speaker
Graham Sherman is a self-professed “high level geek” who, together with his business partner Jeff Orr met while working throughout Afghanistan on contracts for the Canadian and US governments and military forces, installing encrypted, tactical communication networks. By day, they rolled around Afghanistan in armoured vehicles, “geeking out” in the world of satellite communications. By night, they aimed their obsessive, high-level thinking at mastering hobbies such as coffee, competitive BBQ, and eventually, perfecting batches of craft beer brewed right out of his back yard Tool Shed.
Together with his partner, Graham launched Tool Shed Brewing Company in 2013 and has never looked back. Now sold in over 1000 locations throughout Western Canada, Tool Shed has its 22,000 square foot headquarters in Calgary. The duo behind the brand has also been named as winners of Calgary’s 2016 “ top 40 under 40 recognition by avenue magazine as well as being nominated as Canadian Entrepreneur of the year.
