Gabriel Urrutia, with over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, blends his expertise in spirits and mixology with a dedication to education at FIU's Chaplin School of Hospitality. Celebrated for crafting innovative cocktail menus and leading impactful bartender training, Urrutia is recognized as one of Wine Enthusiast’s "40 under 40 Tastemakers of America." Gabe is the author of Miami’s first cocktail book in history, "Miami Cocktails: An Elegant Collection of Over 100 Recipes Inspired by the Magic City". The book was recently selected as a 2020 Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Award Honoree.

Born in Miami to Cuban and Chilean parents, he brings a rich cultural heritage and a profound understanding of beverage trends to his role, making significant contributions to the beverage community.
