What if creativity is not a rare spark reserved for the few, but a rhythm we can all step into?

In my talk, From Seed to Bloom: Cultivating Your Creative Potential, I explore how creativity follows the natural cycle of growth: seed, roots, stem, bloom. Drawing from my own journey in photography, painting, and writing, alongside insights from voices such as Rick Rubin, Georgia O’Keeffe, and Ai Weiwei, I show how small acts of noticing and practice grow into meaningful creative work. You will leave with simple tools to apply immediately, including keeping a Noticing Journal, building creative rituals, and embracing the “80 percent rule.” These practices are designed to shift your perspective from waiting for inspiration to cultivating it. This talk is for anyone who has ever felt stuck, searching, or ready to reconnect with their own creative rhythm. Together we uncover how to nurture ideas, trust the process, and let our creativity bloom.

About the speaker

Hi, I am Brian! I am a creative thinker, storyteller, and speaker with a background in commercial and fashion photography and art direction, working with clients across industries while building personal projects in painting, writing, and analog photography. My work explores creativity as a living cycle, where sparks of curiosity take root, grow through practice, and bloom into shared expression. From campaign shoots to sketchbooks, I have seen how creativity expands when nurtured and shared. In this talk, I invite you to see creativity not as a rare talent but as something we can all cultivate, from seed to bloom.
