Our speaker at the March 2012 CreativeMornings/Singapore was Felix Ng, Creative Director of SILNT and a recipient of the prestigious Young Guns 9 Award from the Art Directors Club New York. He shares with us his experience as a self-taught designer and how to “Fake It till you Make It.”

About the speaker

Felix Ng is an art director, designer, publisher and curator based in the Republic of Singapore.

He is the creative director of design practice, SILNT which he co-founded in 2005 after graduating from school where he studied journalism.

A recipient of the prestigious Young Guns 9 Award from the Art Directors Club New York that awards the year’s top 50 creative professionals age 30 or younger. He has served as jury in the British D&AD, Singapore Creative Circle and Crowbar Awards. In 2008, Felix was invited to represent Singapore at the prestigious Venice Architectural Biennale amongst 22 Singaporean designers.

Critical acclaim for his work have been published in Monocle, Wallpaper, Fast Company, Coolhunting, It’s Nice That, SHIFT Japan, Wall Street Journal, The Design Society Journal, The Business Times, The Straits Times and more.
