What are FieldTrips?
FieldTrips are meetups to interact, learn and collaborate in an effort to level-up your creative life.
We’re limiting these events to only 25 people, they’re like an intimate dinner party. Your absence will be felt so please make sure that you can definitely attend if you sign up. Also, we’re in the prototyping phase, so come with an open mind and be prepared for anything.
Thanks for participating! We’re lucky to have you.
Learning Exhibition Design
October 11, 8:30am - 10:00am EDT. Hosted at Speed Art Museum
About this FieldTrip
Take a few minutes for coffee in the Museum Café, then join Design Manager Carrie Scrufari on a tour of two of the Speed’s exhibitions, Ebony G. Patterson: …while the dew is still on the roses… and Gonzo! The Illustrated Guide to Hunter S. Thompson, focusing on exhibition graphics and the design process for these two exhibitions. Then collaborate with the other attendees and use some simple hands-on tools like swatch books, a foam core model, and paper to brainstorm your own exhibition space for an imaginary exhibit.
Park in the Museum Garage, and enter through the Café door, just to the left and around the corner from the main entrance.
Access Ventures exists to open doors that would otherwise be closed. By offering one-pocket investment opportunities and inviting entrepreneurs, creators, and investors to share in an active and vibrant vision for their communities, we are all enriched as we build something together.
