About the speaker
Bailey Sell is a Queer + Trans artist and screen printer in Grand Rapids, MI. With what was once just a hobby, Bailey has created a community driven print shop named Transfigure, that not only works with other LGBTQ+ individuals but raises money for them as well.
To date, Bailey and their team of two have raised several thousands of dollars for regional LGBTQ+ centers and educators, like the Grand Rapids Trans Foundation and Stand With Trans MI. In total, Transfigure has helped raise over $50,000 for non-profits and organizations nationwide since starting fundraising efforts in 2019.
Besides living his dream of running his own screen printing shop, Bailey enjoys cuddling up with his cats Cleo and Jack, modding old gameboys, and watching horror movies with his partner, Arlo. In 2020 Bailey earned his BFA in Printmaking at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University in Grand Rapids, with a minor in Graphic Design.
