About the speaker

Eslam Salah is a social and food entrepreneur based in Malmö with years of experience in food product development, distribution, business development, and food import and export. His journey in the food scene began at the early age of 8 in his family’s small food shop in Egypt. There he got first run at buying raw materials (such as beans, grains and eggs) from the farmers to sell to grocers. After this early childhood experience, he decided to pursue studies in agricultural science as an adult. Now he is bringing his transnational experiences full circle with the launch of Lupinta, a sustainable alternative to soy. His Creative Mornings talk will focus on the preservation of local resources and the challenges facing the food system in the EU.
