Erik Modahl, founder of beantrust, a coffeebar and coffee distribution business located in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Erik Modahl is passionate about cultivating community, not only at beantrust, but in workplaces throughout the greater Boston area. For the past seven years, he has worked alongside organizations such as Cambridge Innovation Center, Venture Café Cambridge, Impact Hub Boston, Greentown Labs, Lab Central, SANOFI, Ipsen Pharmaceutical, IDEO, Utile, Bruner and Cott, Rode, TEDx Cambridge, Microsoft, Harvard, MIT, Northeastern and Boston Universities , Rise Robotics, Endicott College, Beverly Main Streets, Creative Mornings Boston, Trustees of Reservations at Long Hill.

In 2015, Erik, founded beantrust with the goal of giving his community the experience of old world hospitality in today’s fast paced world. Erik curates events and programs that center around creating comfortable spaces where people have the opportunity to get to know one another in deeper ways through genuine conversation.

Currently, Erik enjoys events such as coffee klatch at Cambridge Innovation Center as well as spending time at beantrust coffeebar having conversations with customers.

Erik’s aspiration is to build a place in the soul of the community for connection and a shared sense of belonging.
