Vrindavan Rao

Enneagram Coach & Meditation Teacher at Illuminate NYC.

Brooklyn, NY, USA

Hi! I’m Vrin and I’m a Leadership Coach, Meditation Teacher, Writer and Kirtan Singer. I use my unique knowledge of the Enneagram and yoga psychology to help individuals and groups recognize and break out of their emotional reactive patterns. You can find more about my and the work I offer at www.illuminate.nyc or on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/illuminate.nyc/) where I share more on the Enneagram, ego and how to identify our reactive patterns.

About this FieldTrip

Over the years, I’ve seen numerous individuals fall in love with the Enneagram and simultaneously ask, “How do you make this practical? How do I apply this to better my life?”

If you’ve ever wanted a place to learn and apply the Enneagram in real time, come join us! Whether you’re a newbie or well-versed, over this one hour, you’ll walk away with a deeper understanding of yourself.

✨WHAT TO EXPECT

✔️ Over the course of an hour, we will focus on one area of the Enneagram (accessing the intelligence of the body), discuss how it shows up for us in our lives’ and engage in transformatory practices. Here’s what to expect:

✔️ Opening Meditation - To help bring us out of our heads and into our body, into the present moment.

✔️ Digestible Enneagram Teaching - Since the Enneagram is so vast, we will be focusing on one piece of it - the importance of accessing our bodies. We will learn what being present in the body looks like, what it looks like when we are absent from it and the intelligence that it provides to us.

✔️ Body center meditation - The best way to access the body is to experience it. You will be led through a 10-15 minute meditation to learn about the different ways the body is constantly providing us with information.

✔️ Sharing: We’ll separate into small breakout rooms and (if inspired) you’ll have an opportunity to share your experience of the meditation with your group. Sharing is not mandatory.

✔️ Reflections + Q&A - We’ll close by offering time to share reflections in the chat and the opportunity to ask questions.

❤️This FieldTrip is Interactive

This FieldTrip is interactive and includes optional Breakout Rooms. If you do not want to be in a room, no worries! You can stay in the main room.

about your host

I’ve personally experienced the power of both the Enneagram and meditation as ways to bring me into the present moment and live more intentionally. The sheer volume of information around both of these powerful tools can make it confusing for others to know where to start and how to apply them. That’s why I am passionate about blending the two to make it as practical and applicable as possible based on my years of experience utilizing both.

How to make the most of FieldTrips

The FieldTrips experience is defined not only by what the host has to share, but also by how we show up individually and collectively. The way we show up impacts our capacity to be moved, inspired, and activated.

Show up fully

Get ready to be immersed! Engage with smiles, nods, waves, emojis. Share in the chat. Get cozy. Turn off notifications. Sip your favorite beverage.

Stay curious

Wear your beginner’s hat. Go with the flow. Welcome the stumbles and fumbles. Congratulate yourself for trying. Keep going!

Celebrate your host

Our hosts are members of the CreativeMornings community—just like you! Everyone comes to this with different backgrounds—a lot of our hosts have never done anything like this before! And we love that! Cheer them on when something goes awry and when it goes perfectly.

Support each other

We’re all figuring things out in real time. Celebrate, rather than critique emerging ideas. Cheer each other on as you try new things.  Try “Yes! And…” in conversation.

Not vibing?

It’s 100% okay when a FieldTrip does not resonate with you. Pop out quietly and try another experience later. Fill out the survey with your feedback (no dms to host or chat commentary, please.)
