Sofia Ramirez Hernandez

Sofía Ramírez Hernández (she/they) is a human, artist, and absolute gem. She's more specifically a drawer, printmaker, educator, mentor, jokester, runner, and living room karaoke star. Firmly believing that creative expression is everyone's birthright, Sofía spends her time in classrooms and markets sharing perspectives on the self-grace, discipline, and humor that have made her near-decade-old, non-negotiable, daily practice, "Sofía Draws Every Day," possible.

Their current preferred drawing materials are gel pens and grey markers, and the work explores themes spanning all the way from Michigan landscapes and intricate self-portraits to cheeky, motivational messaging and delicious foods.
Sofía "coaches" after school art classes, sells her work in person at art markets and pop-ups, trains with No Surrender Running Club, and enjoys camping, watching movies, eating a good mango, and spending time with her family and friends.
