About the speaker

Elizabeth O’Neill , a Certified Specialist of Spirits, Woodford Reserve Master Taster and Senior Quality Control Specialist, is the second generation of her family to work in the Bourbon industry. Her mother was a production manager for the Seagrams Distillery Co. O’Neill has a masters degree from the University of Louisville and has been a member of Brown-Forman’s R&D Department for 6 years. As the Senior Quality Control Specialist, Master Taster, and a founding member of the Whiskey Qualitative Descriptive Analysis program, she works closely with Master Distiller Chris Morris and the Woodford Reserve Distillery team.

She is also the secretary of the board for Green Hill Therapy, a nonprofit organization that utilizes hippotherapy in physical and occupational therapy and is active in the Younger Women’s Club of Louisville.
