About the speaker
Dr. Benjamin F. Miller, PsyD, is an advocate for mental health awareness and education, and a champion of more robust and equitable health policy. Dr. Miller is the past president of Well Being Trust, a national foundation dedicated to advancing the mental, social, and spiritual health of the nation. Over the last two decades, Dr. Miller has worked tirelessly to prioritize mental health in our policies, programs, and investments. A clinical psychologist by training, Miller works at the intersection of policy and practice, ensuring that mental health and addiction is prioritized across America.
Karen Collins received her B.A. degree in Psychology and Afro-American studies from Indiana University and a Master of Ministry degree in Biblical Counseling from Covington Theological Seminary. Karen is a servant leader, a community advocate and a bridge builder, connecting people to resources by “Reimagining” collaborations to break down barriers by championing Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging practices. Karen currently serves under Mayor Tim Kelly as the Director of Supplier Diversity for the Mayor’s Office for the City of Chattanooga, TN in the newly formed Department of Equity and Community Engagement.
