About the speaker
Join us in February for the theme of camino, with special guest speaker Dorianne Attiogbé, a Seattle-based jewelry designer and founder of Atiwo. Dorianne’s work reflects a deeply personal road - a journey shaped by heritage, migration, and creative rediscovery. Born and raised in Paris, with Beninese and Togolese roots, Dorianne came to the U.S. to pursue engineering, built a career as a Product Manager, and eventually found her way back to design.
During the pandemic, she rekindled her love for jewelry-making through polymer clay, transforming it into a creative practice that blends cultural storytelling with modern craft. Each piece she creates carries meaning, from Ewe names honoring her parents’ Togolese heritage to bold forms inspired by African aesthetics. Dorianne’s path is a reminder that the road forward is rarely linear - and that honoring where we come from can guide where we’re going.
