Here are 3 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Me
š§Ŗļø Thing #1: My last name is a Polish last name. My Polish great-grandfather Kazimierz Fajans discovered the chemical element, Protactinium, and ate lunch with Albert Einstein at a table my parents now have in their dining room.
šThing #2: I have a PhD in Positive Organizational Psychology from Claremont Graduate University, where I studied under Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, world-renowned author of Flow. My research focused on how to help people learn, develop, and lead more effectively to better achieve creative goals.
šøThing #3: I am an avid music creator and guitar player - and since the birth of my amazingly curious, creative, and energetic 6-year-old son, Hendrix, I have been creating funky fresh kids music (under the artist name, MrBoodaddy) that captures the authenticity, joy, craziness, and fun of toddlers and parents experiencing the world together. This is NOT anything like the typical cookie-cutter children’s music out there. The president of the National Association of Record Industry Professionals (NARIP) described my EP, Trash Truck, as “Beastie Boys for Babies” š¤£.

Creating and sustaining effective habits will help you experience momentum - the key to your productivity, motivation, and well-being as a creative person.
You’ll learn:
1) How to design effective habits
2) Why it’s so hard to stick to habits as a creative person
3) How to transform your habits into Flow experiences so you DO stick with them (and maximize their benefits)
4) When to let go of habits that no longer serve you

š£ A conversation around why creating and sticking to habits is so challenging (but important to achieving your creative goals!), and what you can do to be more consistentāļø A practical 6-element framework for designing effective habits(plus a worksheet we’ll dig into during the session to help you diagnose and design your habits)
šA set of core “creative momentum habit” templates that you can adopt and customize to support your focus, progress, and well-being
ā”ļøA unique approach to transform and evolve your habits for maximum effectiveness by integrating Flow theory
š¦¶ļøA conversation around when to let go of habits that no longer serve you or your goals
āļø This session involves lecture, discussion, and worksheets. You’ll walk away with a set of effectively designed habits to propel your creative work.
