About the speaker

Dana Robinson is a founding partner of TechLaw, LLP, where his clients range from large companies to startups and single person enterprises. His focus is on intellectual property and business law. He says, “My typical client is a creative person who wants to launch a business with their idea. I help them leverage and protect their ideas and navigate them through the legal issues.”

He’s an adjunct professor of law at the University of San Diego School of Law, where he launched and co-manages the law school’s IP Law Clinic.

Dana has spent 20 years as an active entrepreneur and investor with involvement in over a dozen ventures, including co-founding high-end, handcrafted shoe brand - Esquivel, an audiobook publishing company, and a modern wine barrel brand. His current venture, TrademarkBank, offers brand monitoring software for individuals, businesses and law firms.

His passion is helping creative entrepreneurs with support for their ideas and strengthening their passion for doing something good through the process. To that end, he speaks on a variety of topics, including trademark law; brand trends; entrepreneurialism; and subjects related to small business.
