About the speaker
Dan is a creative Filmmaker, Director, and influential Youtuber. In his more than 10 years behind the camera, he has directed many commercials, music videos, documentaries and short films spanning around the world.
Having joined YouTube as a creator back in 2011, he built up an audience of over 700,000 subscribers and has amounted over 30 Million views for his content.
Dan writes, producers and edits most of his own content and considers himself to be an all-round creative. The international recognition for his work includes three Young Director Awards at Cannes Lions, an African Cristal Film Grand Prix, Bronze Loerie Awards, Ciclope Africa Editing Craft awards, and Creative Circle ad of the month, amongst others.
