Everyone is creative - and everyone has a story about it!
Join us on June 19th at 8am at the Forks Market (2nd floor event space) to celebrate our shared experiences through storytelling.
At CreativeMornings Winnipeg this month, we're partnering with Winnipeg Story Slam for a live storytelling event built around the theme "I had to get creative." This isn't just one talk, it's a room full of real people sharing real moments of creativity.
Anyone can take the mic. All you need is two minutes and a true story.
Our Community Partner: Winnipeg Story Slam
Winnipeg Story Slam is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run storytelling community where people of all ages and backgrounds come together to share in the human experience. Their mandate is simple: create a welcoming space for anyone to tell their true story, live and out loud and walk away knowing we are all more alike than different.
Together we believe that everyone is creative, everyone is welcome, and that face-to-face connection has the power to inspire change.
Nicole Dube, founder and host of Wpg Story Slam, will be co-hosting this event.
Want to share your story? Sign up to be a storyteller at the door when you arrive. We will draw as many names as we have time for!

Anyone can shoot a video, but to craft something that truly makes an impact, it takes much more than cameras and lighting. We do it through the power of story. It’s how we help people build stronger connections to their audiences, reach their goals and push their businesses forward.

We at Tall Grass Prairie Bread Company are committed to local, organic and made from scratch. Tall Grass believes that good food is made when we work with our Mother the Earth in a spirit of gratitude and with loving responsiveness to her needs and ours. Together with the Earth, those who grow, mill, and bake; those who press, preserve and can; those who slice, sauté and cook; those who sell and buy – each person offers a unique gift to the creation of the Tall Grass products. Our bakeries and kitchen are the meeting places where good, whole food is born and begins to sing its own song. We support organic agriculture. This is agriculture practiced without the use of artificial fertilizers or pesticides. In so doing, we demonstrate our desire to take responsibility for the gifts of the Earth.
