CreativeMorningsJLM January event- ANXIETY with Catalina Dash

part of a series on Anxiety
About the speaker
Catalina Dash: women psychology & coach and a yoga teacher based in Jerusalem.
The Protestant community in Jerusalem built the Hansen House in 1887 as a leprosy asylum, after being planned by the German architect Conrad Schick. In 1950 it was sold to the Jewish National Fund and continued to operate as a hospital for 50 years. In 2009, the building was assigned to the Jerusalem Municipality, with the aim of restoring it and reopening it as a cultural center. Overseen by the Jerusalem Development Fund, this impressive historical compound underwent restoration works the following years. It was reopened to the public in 2014 as a center for design, media and technology. Today it offers exhibitions, film screenings, computer and electronic studios, a fabrication lab and more. Along these, it houses Bezalel advanced study programs, the artist’s group - Maamuta, research groups centered on design and technology, as well as the Jerusalem Film and Television Fund and Erev Rav - magazine for Art, Culture and Society.
