Jaysin speaks on the process of creating fantasy artwork
Learn techniques Jaysin uses to bring fantasy illustrations to life. As a self taught creative Jaysin is always looking for new tools and solutions to push his Studio artwork to the next level. He will touch on his passion for the world and fantasy and show how he works with Photoshop, Zbrush, motion graphics and his creation of an augmented reality application to bring fantasy artwork to life.
About the speaker
Jaysin and his partner have been collaborating as DPI Studios for over twenty years. Over the years he has been part of creating artwork for the World of Warcraft TCG, White Wolf’s Exalted RPG, and Green Ronin Publishing. Their artwork has been included in Exotique and d’artiste Fashion Design art books through Ballistic Publishing and a gallery feature in Heavy Metal Magazine (Issue No. 267). DPI Studios has exhibited at the Calgary Expo for the last eleven years with Jaysin becoming a staff member with the organization in 2013. Their painting Make a Wish had the honour of being selected as the cover for the 2011 Calgary Expo art book cover and in 2006 DnD Classic received the 1st place award at the Dragon-Con art show.
