Create: Celebrating 10 Years of Creative Mornings Chattanooga

Our ten year anniversary calls for something special. This month we’re shaking things up with six (six!!!) mini-talks from speakers across our community, exploring May’s global theme: create.

📣 Tess Rollins is the Director of Programs and Events at River City Company and a serial creative. She hosted a local show, “Simply Enhance,” and immerses herself in the community by exploration and discovery.

📽️ Emily & Corey Crister are advertising photographers, long-time friends of CreativeMornings/Chattanooga, and the founders of Lanewood Studio. They’ve made photographs of all sorts of Chattanooga genius over the years, and have such a unique POV on what it means to create here.

🎻 Maggie Carruth O'Connor is a dynamo. Founder of all things TedXChattanooga, she’s also been building a world of music in Chattanooga through her rapidly growing Porchfests series. Porchfests (in Highland Park, St. Elmo, and Red Bank so far) are all the best things about southern porch culture, live music, and a block party.

📸 Joey Schlabs is a multi-hyphenate entrepreneur with a deep focus on image-making; a director, photographer, and founder a few times over, he’s back with a new venture called Fawn Studio in Chattanooga’s south side. Wait til you see that natural light!

🍱 Christopher Knowles is a creative director and designer based here in Chattanooga who’s been building MONOSPACE, one of the coolest supper clubs around. They feature a chef, a DJ, and a visual artist in rad venues all over town.

Our venue is downtown, so parking exists in every direction—but as always, we recommend walking, biking, or taking the electric bus if you can!
