About the speaker
Christopher Doyle - Creative Director and Founder
Christopher Doyle & Co. is an independent design studio based on Gadigal country, Sydney, Australia. The studio specialises in brand identity including visual identity, naming and verbal identity, creative direction, campaigns and digital design.
They regularly collaborate with creatives, writers, strategists, photographers, motion designers and developers to work with a diverse range of companies and brands across multiple platforms.
Founder and Creative Director Christopher Doyle (he/him) is an internationally recognised designer with over 20 years experience. He has worked at some of Australia’s leading brand and design agencies. His work has won numerous local and international awards, been used globally as the basis for educational material, and appeared in feature articles for Desktop Magazine, Creative Review and Grafik Magazine.
In 2009 Doyle was named one of Indesign’s Top Ten Faces and Forces of Design. In 2011 his work was selected to be part of Graphic Design: Now in Production, an exhibition co-organised by the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City.
He has given talks for Brand New (New York City), Creative Mornings (Sydney), Sex, Drugs & Helvetica (Melbourne), Semi Permanent (Sydney), Kyoorius (India), the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA), and has lectured at colleges and universities throughout Australia.
He has been featured on The Australian Design Radio Podcast and made written contributions to Desktop Magazine, Design Assembly, Australian Creative and Process Journal and has served as a judge at D&AD, AGDA and AWARD.
Doyle also once found a piece of Nutri-Grain breakfast cereal that looked like E.T. and sold it on eBay for a thousand dollars. True story.
