What are FieldTrips?
FieldTrips are meetups to interact, learn and collaborate in an effort to level-up your creative life.
We’re limiting these events to only 25 people, they’re like an intimate dinner party. Your absence will be felt so please make sure that you can definitely attend if you sign up. Also, we’re in the prototyping phase, so come with an open mind and be prepared for anything.
Thanks for participating! We’re lucky to have you.
Building a community around your work, hosted by Kickstarter
October 23, 8:15am - 10:00am EDT. Hosted at Kickstarter HQ
About this FieldTrip
Join us October 23 at Kickstarter’s HQ (58 Kent St in Greenpoint) to chat about community development with some of our in-house experts, map out next steps for your creative projects, meet potential collaborators, and get to know like-minded people.
Community outreach lead Camilla Zhang, social media specialist Sam Oriach, art director Amanda Rios, comms director Kate Bernyk, content director Katheryn Thayer, and Kickstarter’s product design team will offer specific advice for how to grow a vibrant community around your projects. We’ll be discussing strategies that are widely applicable to all types of creative practices, including how to successfully launch a Kickstarter campaign.
FieldTrips are a celebration of creativity and generosity. They are hosted by awesome individuals and organizations (like you and yours)! When you sign up, please show up. Most FieldTrips have waitlists due to significant interest and limited space.
