About the speaker
Bria Woods is a Multimedia Journalist at the San Antonio Report, where she produces still images and short videos highlighting and explaining the news of the day.
Woods graduated from Trinity University with a BA in Communication and a minor in Film Studies. She then flew to London, England to earn her MA in Multimedia Broadcast Journalism from the University of Westminster.
When she’s not on assignment, Bria collaborates with people in San Antonio on special projects. You can listen to her host the Women in Jazz show on KRTU 91.7 FM every Thursday evening, and see her personal work on display in group and solo exhibitions. Her work has been exhibited in Texas galleries and at The Museum of the Coastal Bend. While Bria was born and raised in D.C., she was adopted by Texas and her heart is in London.
