About the speaker

Our museums, libraries and archives store our cultural memories. From these books, films, newspapers and artworks spring each successive generation of thought and design, remixed, transformed and re-imagined. But to re-use, you first need access to use.

Breandán Knowlton is the Programme Manager at Europeana, where he tries to make the entire cultural heritage of Europe accessible through a single API. He wrote a #webpm book called “A Practical Guide to Managing Web Projects”, and has worn geeky glasses since the age of two.
