In this talk, Beychu explores creativity as the ember that ignites new beginnings in moments of chaos and uncertainty.

When all hope feels lost, an ember often remains - fragile, but still alive. In this talk, Beychu Droma explores creativity as the ember that ignites new beginnings in moments of chaos and uncertainty. She will share how writing helped her through the toughest periods of her life, and how working on her memoir A Part of You Stayed helped her navigate grief, uncertainty, and change. A reflection on creativity as a quiet force that helps us rebuild, reimagine, and begin again.

About the speaker

Beychu Droma was born in Lhasa, Tibet, and grew up in London. She has since lived and worked across cities from Beijing to London, guided by a deep belief that life is meant to be explored - both in the world around us and in our capacity to love, learn, and connect.

She works as a venture capitalist investing in bold technologies across AI, energy, and health, and is the founder of Art Represent, an initiative supporting artists affected by conflict and displacement.

She now lives in Geneva and recently published her first book, A Part of You Stayed.
