Since we are very close to the communities in which we operate, we try to maintain a close relationship with them by encouraging all initiatives that contribute to their cultural enrichment. Additional details
Alexe Marius Andrei is a household name when it comes to inspiring Romanian artists. He is best known as “Bean” a nickname he got since childhood. During his high school years, he started to experiment with music alongside his brother, MC-ing and rapping – that best spoke to him.
He has been part of many musical projects like: Blanoz, L`Orchestre de Roche, Zuza Boys. In 2009 he joins Șuie Paparude and in 2010 he founds Subcarpați. He has also supported, along the way, many young artists like: Dj din Fălticeni, Argatu, Fantome, Cred că sunt Extraterestru, Frații Grime & Basska. In 2018 he starred in Timisoara National Theater’ Hamlet and developed bold collaborations like the one for PLAI 2014 (Subcarpați x Orchestra) and JazzTM 2017 (SubJAZZ: Subcarpați x JazzyBit).
This open and creative approach towards art and community has led Bean to found @centrulcultural.subcarpati in 2021, a project that steers more collaborations and explorations of both traditional and contemporary music.
He will share his view on ABUNDANCE on December 22nd and we can’t wait to hear his lecture and all the stories behind.
Come meet us in Faber.community at our regular time - 07.30 AM - enjoy some quality community time and listen to a great lecture to close off 2022.
