The Center for Openness and Dialogue comes as a result of the personal initiative of Prime Minister Edi Rama. The objective was simple: to transform a part of the headquarters of the Council of Ministers into a space in the service of citizens, to convey the message of openness, transparency and transformation. Translating this goal into a concrete project has been, without doubt, a work far more challenging.

Creating isn’t simply the act of building, it’s having the courage to build what everyone else said couldn’t be built. Patoko was born in a market where no one believed, with drivers whose trust had to be earned one by one, and a vision many called impossible. Energy, belief in your founders, and resilience against skepticism are what turn an idea into reality. For me, to create means to build when everyone around you finds reasons not to.
