Angie Gustafson

Forgotten Star Brewing Co.

part of a series on Camino (kah·MEE·noh) | Way/Path

About the speaker

Angela Gustafson is a Minneapolis founder and entrepreneur blessed with a head full of ideas, the gumption and tenacity to act on some, and key: a supportive family. She has journeyed from Corporate America, to the US Peace Corps on the Dominican Republic-Haiti border, publishing an award-winning children’s book, starting a youth cycling club, and building a thriving and profitable CPG food brand.

At the top of 2026, she continues to put effort into the development of products, services and gatherings that bring joy to others. For example, ever struggled with a stuck jar lid? That can be eradicated thanks to a local team who joyfully re-created her grandfather’s handy kitchen tool. Eat breakfast? Stayed tuned for a children’s book in ideation right now. Longtime residents of Minneapolis, she and her husband, Brian try to keep up with their four young adult children and run the lakes nearly 365 days a year - to music they attempt to soak in live, as much as possible.
