Creative development is a term tossed around a lot in businesses–as if a clock and price tag can easily be assigned to such a thing–but we all know the reality is different.

Creativity is not a switch to be triggered. It’s some aloof combination of inspiration, raw talent, and professional dedication.

Comics editor and creator, as well as IP Director for Hasbro, Inc, Andy Schmidt takes you through a process he developed himself and now teaches at Comics Experience, an online Comics Education institution he founded. It’s a methodology that has served him, his collaborators and his students very well for years. And he’s here to discuss how to approach the creative endeavor–even when “you’re not feeling it.”
