What are FieldTrips?
FieldTrips are meetups to interact, learn and collaborate in an effort to level-up your creative life.
We’re limiting these events to only 25 people, they’re like an intimate dinner party. Your absence will be felt so please make sure that you can definitely attend if you sign up. Also, we’re in the prototyping phase, so come with an open mind and be prepared for anything.
Thanks for participating! We’re lucky to have you.
Breathexperience and the Creative Impulse
January 5, 8:30am - 10:00am PST. Hosted at Breath Space
part of a series on Anxiety
About this FieldTrip
This experiential workshop will introduce you to Middendorf Breathexperience, a somatic practice based on the allowed breath – the breath that comes and goes on its own without interference. You will sense the movement of breath throughout your body. You will practice simple movements that follow the inhale, the exhale and the pause of the breath cycle. Sensing the movement of breath, rather than observing the breath, encourages ease and responsiveness to develop. As our responsiveness unfolds, we recognize the unique creative impulse in every breath. Breathexperience practice promotes healing, renewal, spontaneity and creativity.
